1. Register as a Libertarian in Oregon
Help choose the candidates who carry our message.
Registering to vote as a Libertarian in Oregon automatically makes you a Registered Member of the LPO, at no cost. As a Registered Member, you’re eligible to participate in our Nominating Conventions, where Libertarians choose the candidates who will represent our principles on the ballot.
Don’t just hope the right people step forward. Help decide who carries the banner of liberty into the next election.
Have a say in how the party is run – and where it goes next.
Candidates are only part of the story. The LPO’s direction is shaped by the members who show up, debate the ideas, elect our leadership, and make the decisions that guide our work.
By becoming a Regular Member through annual membership dues, you gain the opportunity to vote at our Business Conventions, where we choose party officers, establish our rules, and shape the platform and priorities that define the LPO.
This is where your vision of liberty becomes part of the nuts and bolts of building the party that will fight for it.
3. Join the National Libertarian Party
Help shape the movement beyond Oregon.
The decisions we make as Libertarians extend well beyond our state borders. National Party membership helps sustain the broader movement and is an important qualification for those who want to represent Oregon as delegates to the Libertarian National Convention.
At the national convention, delegates help choose party leadership, shape the national platform, and determine the future direction of the Libertarian Party across America.
