The Libertarian Party of Oregon’s candidate nominating convention will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at the Holiday Inn Columbia Riverfront hotel located at 909 N Hayden Island Drive, in Portland. Eligible candidates will be nominated for any and all seats for partisan public office being contested in Oregon’s November 2026 general election.
A buffet meal will be available during the convention which must be paid for in advance, to secure a buffet lunch for yourself, point your browser to www.lporegon.org.
There will also be informative and entertaining speakers during the event. Speakers will be announced on the website soon. Purchase of a meal is not required to participate in the convention.
Any and all “registered members” of the LPO (registered Oregon voters affiliated with the Libertarian Party) are eligible to vote at the event and make nominations from the floor for candidates running for office in their respective districts. Any and all “registered members” and “regular members” (dues-paying members ($50) who affirm the LPO’s non-aggression pledge) who are also registered to vote in Oregon are eligible to be nominated to public office provided they are eligible to serve if elected. Any candidates who are not registered libertarians seeking co-nomination will have to become a regular LPO member (this can be done here and does not require changing voter registration party affiliation).
